A few things people usually want to know before we talk. If yours isn't here, reach out and ask.
It's using AI and automation tools to take repetitive, manual work off your plate, the kind of task that gets done the same way over and over. That might be data copied by hand between systems, routine emails and follow-ups, recurring reports, or requests that need routing to the right place. It isn't a robot running your business. It's specific parts of the day handed to software that can do them faster and far more consistently than they get done by hand. Sometimes that's a script doing the same reliable thing every time; sometimes it's AI making a judgment call. I use whichever the job actually needs, because the simpler one is usually cheaper and more dependable.
Not at all, and that's the point. I handle the technical side, build on the tools you already use, document everything, and walk you through how it works. You know your business better than anyone. My job is the tech that makes it run faster.
There are no fixed packages, and only one published price, on purpose. It starts with a free discovery call. If there's something there, the next step is an assessment, $1,000 to $2,500 depending on how many systems and people are involved, agreed before I start. That fee comes off the build price if you go ahead, and it is the one number I can quote before seeing the work. Once the assessment is done, I give you a flat price up front before any build work begins. You only ever pay to build what pays off, and you'll know the number before you say yes, with no hourly meter and no moving targets.
Then I'll tell you, and we won't do it. The discovery call is the filter for exactly this: it's free, and if I don't think there's enough there to justify an assessment, I'll say so. If we do start the assessment and I can't find something worth building, I refund part of the fee. Part of my job is being honest about when automation isn't worth the cost, and an honest “not yet” is a perfectly good outcome.
No. I build on the tools you already use, like QuickBooks, your CRM, and your spreadsheets, rather than forcing a rip-and-replace. The goal is to make what you already have work better together, not to hand you a new system to learn. Occasionally a tool is too closed off to connect cleanly. If that comes up, I'll tell you what's possible and what isn't before you spend anything.
It depends on what we're building, and the assessment gives you a timeline along with the flat price before any build starts. Small automations can come together quickly; larger ones with several moving pieces take longer. Either way, you'll know the scope and the schedule up front, not as we go.
It's yours, documented and handed over working, and you pay once for the build. If you'd like me to keep an eye on it, I offer optional ongoing maintenance: monitoring, fixes, and periodic tune-ups as the tools improve, sized to how much you have running. Some builds run fine on their own; others benefit from upkeep as your business and the tools change.
Carefully, and it's a fair thing to ask about with anything involving AI. I work within your existing tools and their permissions, use reputable platforms, and limit each automation to the data it needs. We'll walk through exactly what's involved before anything is built, so there are no surprises about where your information goes.
Yes. I'm based in Wisconsin's Fox Cities, but I work remotely with clients across the U.S. I do the work inside your software, so it makes no difference where you are.
